Bio

Jennifer Huang is an award-winning painter based in Melbourne. Her works are characterised by a sensitive portrayal of light in the context of playful, visually balanced compositions. They draw upon her dual cultural inheritances: the Western canon of oil painting, and the Chinese visual culture on which she was raised. She invites viewers to share a moment of quiet intensity with her work.
